I had the privilege to get the chance to try Skin MD Natural Face, Hand & Body Shielding Lotion and I wanted to tell you about my experience. Now, I was very excited when I received my package last week as I have VERY dry hands and have tried every lotion there is, so after reading everything about Skin MD on their website HERE, I was excited that this one may work.
I grabbed the lotion and squeezed some on my hand, about the size of a quarter and it was way too much! I covered about the whole top half of my body with that amount. All you need is a little pea size amount (if that) and this stuff will go far. Now, the lotion gave a nice cool feeling when applied and I was thrilled about how smooth it felt going on. It also was not sticky and has no scent to it, which I really like. But, once the lotion was absorbed by my skin, it left me with disappoinment. My hands had a dry, sandpaper-like feel to them, so immediately I was turned off by this product, but I wanted to give a fair review. And give them a better chance than a one trial deal. I was very happy I did.
So, I have been using this for about a week now and my opinion has changed. Although, my hands do still feel dry, I can see and feel many improvements. My hands look a lot healthier and hydrated. They are not as dry as when I first started using the lotion and I am really enjoying it. I also used the lotion on my whole body and the skin also feels smooth and looks very healthy. I even tried the lotion on my face and I could tell it will be great for continued use for hydrating. I have oily and dry skin patches on my face and it did not seem to be a challenge for Skin MD, my face feels the same all over now.
Now, remember, everyone's skin is different, and since my hands are always extremely dry, this worked differently for me and took longer. I can tell it is performing how the company says it will. It is providing an invisible shield and allowing my hands to become healthy again. I am going to continue my use of Skin MD and I have a feeling that once my bottle is gone, I will be purchasing more.
