K-Mart doubling rules reminder

Just a reminder of the "rules" K-Mart has put in place for this doubles event 4/4-4/10

*I just wanted to mention that K-Mart really is bad for not always following their own rules and sometimes things can become a mess!  I do not want to scare you because this is an awesome way to stock up on items for free or very cheap!!

I have read in several places that some K-Marts are being lenient on their rules! But, ask before you try.  I recommend calling before you go because some places have reported to be on the participating list HERE but they actually are not participating.  Also, ask what the limit is for coupons before you go or if there is a limit as to how many transactions you may do per day!

The "rule" is suppose to be 5 coupons per person per day and you must use your Shop Your Way card and have it scanned BEFORE you ring up your items.  Some people have been reporting that they are allowed to do up to 3 transactions on the same card and use 5 coupons per transaction, so can use 15 coupons per day with no problems.  So, a good reason to call ask for your store's "rules" before you go.
(FYI: I have not called my K-Mart in Bismarck noer Minot yet, but plan to on Tuesday sometime.  I will let you know what I find out)

Coupons up to $2/1 are doubling (ie: a $2/1 coupon doubles to $4/1)

There will be NO overage! (ie: if you buy an item for $3.50 and use a coupon for $2/1, it will not double to $4/1, it will only double to $3.50/1)

K-Mart nor Prescription coupons will be doubled

You must have a Shop Your Way card.  You can sign up at the customer Service desk or go HERE.  You can then print out your temp card or just give your cashier your phone # or member # at checkout and they can look it up for you.  Be sure to do this BEFORE you ring up your items.

Only the first 5 coupons you hand to the cashier will be doubled, each one after that will only be deducted the normal value of the coupon.

You can get a Shop Your Way member card for your hubby (or boyfriend or any child over 18), but he/she needs to be present to use the card.  You cannot use it for him/her.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask away!!!  Let me know what your experience was - I hope a pleasant one!!
